Would you recommend for outside work with temperature in the teens? This would be an under layer, I would have a Carhartt over this.
No this is a glorified sweat shirt. Not even close to an expensive heave weighed North face. These are worth about $30 that is it. These are not even close to a soft shell jacket.

I bought this jacket about 5 years ago for around $160. Great for cold weather and snow. Great deal, in for 1 even though I wore mine today. I'll keep it until I need it.

The MSRP is a joke. $40 bucks for a polyester jacket? Please. "ColdGear Infrared technology uses a soft, thermo-conductive inner coating to absorb & retain your own body heat!!" Marketing bullshplit. You're paying for the UA symbol and that's it.

The infrared coating on the inside of these is pretty differentiable. I have the infrared gloves from UA, and they're spectacular -- you can feel the heat bouncing back to your body.

It seems to be good price compare to other online sources. Too bad that they don't have any small size on special sale.

LOL @ $150 normal price. $40 seems about right even with name-brand tax.
That original price is a joke, but at $40 these are a great deal. Yes, you can buy much cheaper outerwear, even by Under Armour (like the $20 hoodies and sweaters from Academy), but these are no joke. Their Storm line keeps you dry without the polymer feel of a regular jacket, and Infrared keeps you warm like a heavier jacket.

I've ordered from here before several times.
I ordered 6 Large Under Armour shirts and 2 UA hoodies. I was happy with my purchases and would not hesitate to order from them again.

Just be aware you will be extremely annoyed at the velcro at the end of the sleeves. It catches on everything, sticks when you put your hands in the pockets. The edges are sharp. Nice jacket marred by a lack of attention to that.

Guessing that's the reason it got discontinued.

And if you want to layer, get a vest as the sleeves are tight. That's what I got from all the reviews I read.

That site is more choked-up with spaghetti code than Verizon.com and that's saying something

Couldn't agree more with the velcro on the end of the sleeves. Love the jacket otherwise, but the velcro sticks to absolutely anything it even slightly comes in contact with.
