I just picked up a pair of these on Rakuten for $317 all in (vendor was in my state, so I had to pay taxes, but shipping was free). These are definitely worth it if your devices support the better Bluetooth codecs this does.

One caveat, to anyone who hasn't really used ANC headphones before, is it feels WEIRD. I hear these are better than the Bose QC35-II in that the ANC blocks out more noise, and in that the ANC creates less pressure so it's less uncomfortable. Even so, I can feel it and it's mildly uncomfortable. I wore them all day yesterday to try them out and I eventually got used to the feeling, but it's still odd when you first out them on again.

Great sound, great ANC. Make sure you connect to your devices using aptx or ldap.
Have you tried using the Noise Cancelling Optimizer in the app? It gets rid of the pressure.

Have Bose QC35. Tried on this Sony and the new Surface headphone and ended up jumping on the B&O H9i for 349 no tax a few days ago. Highest sound quality, ANC minimally worse, by far best design, durability, and build quality. Have an iPhone so aptX codec on the Sony doesn't benefit, otherwise might have changed my mind.

I'm still waiting to hear someone comment on the earpads. The ME vs the M3 on comfortability. I own the M2s and I can only use them for 3 hours before I have to switch to my Bose QC35ii. I'd like to buy the M3s and say screw it to the M2s and the Bose QC35ii s but I don't know if the ear cups on the M3s are the same as the M2s. Yes the M2s get hot but besides that they hurt my ears because they don't have much padding.

Do these work with the PS4 yet, and is the microphone better than the MDR-1000x?

I bought Bose QC after tried several on Sony xm2, it's simply that Bose is more comfortable to me to ware it long hours, the xm2 is too cramp to me not sure if xm3 is the same.

What is the difference if you connect through aptx/ldap rather than bluetooth?
I believe for my Galaxy S9 there are no options but BT

APTx and LDAC are Bluetooth codecs.
Both are available on Galaxy S9. APTx will be used by default and you have to manually enable LDAC under the Bluetooth connection.

LDAC is supposed to be better sounding, but I didn't notice a huge difference. Connection sometimes drops in and out under LDAC for me.

What is the return policy on these?

The "Returns" tab on DealGuru's page is empty.

And, I assume DealGuru is not an authorized Sony reseller.
