Walmart LG OLED65C8PUA OLED $1499 55’ 1099 YMMV

It looks like another Walmart near me has the LG OLED C8 65 and 55 TVs on sale again. I'm assuming Walmart is clearing out the selection. Martinsburg, WV was this price last week and Sterling, VA has dropped to this price. Hopefully some more people can find this price at Walmart. YMMV

I was actually surprised to see Sterling marked down b/c it seems like they never mark down. If the 65 is at 2249 near you, wait a week or so and they'll prob drop it. 20132 is my zip.

I already went twice earlier this week. First time, guy told me it had already sold in the morning. So I waited and asked another employee to confirm and she did. The next day, Brickseek still showed it in stock so I went again and a third employee confirmed they had none and the inventory system was simply counting the display model. It seemed like a lot of people had been asking him about it already haha

FYI, the remote on this is trash. If LG has not added the codes for your other items (sound bar, DVD/ Blu-ray, etc.), there's NO WAY TO ADD IT MANUALLY. Not programmed: major Bose speakers, some Sony players, high end aux systems and other typical plug and go items.

you can't turn off the annoying pointer that pops up Everytime the remote is moved.

Want to use another remote to get these features (or avoid them)? You won't be able to control the smart TV apps with any other remotes.

Google Assistant integration is a joke, damn near useless.
Upside: picture is great, even with 4k Netflix. Super thin and light. So thin, I was worried about breaking it getting out of the box.

Remote works fine for me.

These are definitely out there. Picked up both a 65 and 55 last weekend.

I have this and the remote is fine. I don't use it, I use my Logitech harmony hun and the small remote that comes with it and it works controlling everything. I have a dvr, tv, server and receiver all controlled by the harmony with 2 activities. The native tv app connects seamlessly to the server and Netflix and I can control everything with 1 remote.
