Ever since Bostonion took over, Clarks quality has gone into the toilet. I see their shoes at all the discounters - Ross Dress for Less, TJMaxx Companies, etc. and am pretty floored by just how crappy, lightweight and unsupportive they are. I don't consider Clarks at $35 a deal but rather what they should be charging.

That said, I don't have these, cannot comment.

thats so sad to hear that they would cheapen the quality by so much but thats seems to be the trend these days...thanks for your frank and honest input runner0382

I bought a pair of Clarks last year on one of these deals and the quality was quite good plus the comfort was excellent. Not sure which dress pair, but I can't complain. The other dress shoes I've bought in deals in this price range were far worse.

I've been wearing Clark work shoes for over a year and they still look great. These are my favorite dress shoes for comfort and how they hold up and you can't beat the price when they go on sale!! Only thing that wore out on one shoe was the laces because I probably tied it too tight and broke it.

I have the Conwell cap toe's and I like them a lot. The leather is good quality and they look quite nice, not cheap at all and I'm a shoe snob. One issue might be potential wrinkling between the cap and the laces but if you have a proper fit this shouldn't be significant.

Only been wearing them about three weeks but first impressions are extremely comfortable, just not sure how long they will last. I'm hoping to get two years out of them wearing 1-3 times per week in rotation with other shoes in the office. Rubber sole and heel is comfy but not replaceable so you will need to toss the when it wears out.

I would recommend them at $35. I paid $50 on amazon and don't regret it. I might buy more at this price.

I just bought the tilden model off Amazon for around $50. Great shoe, comfortable and I've gotten a lot of compliments.

The ones at TJmaxx are odds and ends of close outs, Clarks are still the same great quality thay have alwsys been.
Of course like a line of footwear there might be dogs.

Only thing I hate about these deals is that they never have popular sizes.. especially 10.5" 11"
