I have this cooling a ryzen 7 1700x. Works fine and is comparable to the popular hyper 212 evo. Fan was DOA and pump is loud at times. Overall thought it would be quieter than it is so it's not really worth the purchase.

Yeah unless you really need it you're better getting a really strong air cooled one not water

For all those wondering. I bought this at Microcenter nov of 2017. All good so far. No leaks. No nada. Working excellent since. Just my 2 cents.

This cooler has been keeping my 9600k idle at 28c and 69c under load. Overclocked at 5.2 GHz. No problem for the past three months. Not loud or leaky! Time will tell though. This deal would of been nice three months ago. Maybe buy as a spare?

I have this for my new build in June 2017 for a Ryzen 7 1700. So far so good. I kinda abused this computer a bit to keep it on 24/7 for a year running some CPU intense program in the same time. No leaking, noise acceptable. Hope it'll hold up. Maybe I'm just lucky that I have 3 different builds with these kind of AIO liquid coolings in different years. The oldest one is already 6 years old and still no problem.

I have the ml240l - no leaks yet after 2 months but that masterfan is horrible. I replaced them with phanteks off amazon and just used the masterfan as a case fan with the speed set low just for the rgb and things got much better. Now it's really quiet, runs pretty cool and is a much better looking system than if it was with a 212 evo. Also, didn't have to worry about the awkward orientation of the 212 evo on AM4. Recommended if you replace the fan.

Can it work with both AMD and INTEL CPUs?

Specifically:

- [ ] AMD Ryzen
- [ ] Intel i7
- [ ] Intel i5
- [ ] Intel Xeon e5 series (the chips are huge with this one)

On the product page it says:

> Block Compatibility
> Intel LGA 2066 / 2011-v3 / 2011 / 1366 / 1151 / 1150 / 1156 / 1155 / 775
>
> AMD Socket AM4 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 / FM2+ / FM2 / FM1

I'm not sure what AM* Ryzen is..

but the compatibility list overall seems quite impressive.

I have used quite a few of these - no issues, I really like them especially on sale.
What's strange is that a few of them when unpacked had a green liquid on the CPU plate, so it did seem like they were leaking or something, but when I tested them (powered up, shook, bent, squeezed pipes, turned up and down...) they did not show any leaks. I don't know if that is what some reviewers are referring to.
