Been watching for bundle deals after I missed out on BF, so this looks pretty good. Prices last until 1/12/19 only and don't seem to apply to the base 128GB models. No $799 bundle this time around, but still good for those who were wanting the additional SSD storage. Deal is for online and in-store purchases, though stores likely have the base models only -- at least from my experience.

*All come with TypeCover and Surface pen

i5, 256GB, black $1,129.99 [costco.com]

i5, 256GB, platinum $1,129.99 [costco.com]

i5, 256GB, cobalt $1,129.99 [costco.com]

Interestingly enough, the i7 256GB in black has been $200 off since 1/2 and will be until 1/21, but performance differences between the i5 and i7 are minimal unless you're strictly doing graphic-intensive applications. Article reference [windowscentral.com].

i7, 256GB black $1,399.99 [costco.com]

I was thinking of buying the i5 128gb bundle at Costco is $999.00 (no discount). Should I pay the extra $100 for this? Don't know anything about computers! Thanks

Yes if you want convenience. Otherwise get a 256GB micro SD card to expand the storage for a little over $50

I received a SP6 i5/8GB/128GB/Keyboard as a gift that is still sealed NIB. If anyone wants that before I return it for store credit, PM me.

Not minimal. The i7 has cooling and performs much better with less thermals. It's way more consistent speeds and outperforms the surface book2.
Is it worth the money to upgrade from a 128 to the 256? Yes. The 256 is a much faster Fujitsu drive. Imo you want the i7 8gb 256gb.
