I didn't like my 49" Series 4, although my friend loves his. The motion-blur feature bothers me and I can't figure out if there's a way to turn it off. There is light bleed on the edges, too. The speakers are OK.
Roku, though, I was really excited about, coming from a Fire Stick. However, it just isn't as fast and reliable as Fire Stick, and the remote isn't great (can't replace with RF remote, squishy buttons). The sounds also bother me. I will say that it is nice to have the settings button on the remote, which makes it easy to change display settings from any app.
I have had the complete opposite experience with my Roku tcl tv vs my fire stick. I always thought the fire stick was slow and unresponsive. It was so bad that I ended up buying a roku stick to replace it.

Really want the 65! Smilie
Ditto. If it pops back up for $800, I'll jump on it. Not a penny more, though. Yes, it's way better than the 4-series, but it's not better enough for my usage to be worth more than a ~$300 premium over the 4-series 65-inch. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

The review I read on this TV said there is no way to turn off the motion control feature on the 4 series. It's the only reason I didn't buy this one.

get them both! I've had 55S and 65R side by side for 9 months now. 55S 4 series is best bang for buck but the 65R is brighter and better for gaming and PC monitor. I use the smaller 4 series as auxiliary display with 1080p news feed and it's a lot easier to wall mount.

If you have a Microcenter nearby and are comfortable with refurbished. This is a pretty good deal.

I have this TV. It has issues with Netflix titles that support Dolby Vision, making dark scenes toooo dark to the point where you basically can't see anything. Issues with others reported here: https://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?t=116031

Roku..just bought the Ultra standalone version last year because MLB.TV was freezing. Appears the standalones are better than built in since they can be simply replaced.

Need four HDMI ports (not three)
Will hold off for 65'' deal... without Roku..

I think we were addressing that before, I found Netflix to be best with the HDR10 over the xbox S netflix app. Not a huge deal, it still looks great and DV is still for early adopters, some of it will blow your mind. Xbox DV Netflix support is still MIA on Vizio and TCL tvs. https://www.forbes.com/sites/john...c7562f4539

Agree, it is solvable by turning Dolby vision off. Anytime you lose power to the roku TV, it will forget the setting and you will have to use the secret menu to turn it off again. A minor issue. TV is still absolutely worth it at this price!
