Exactly! Singapore Airlines is rated #1 airline because it also
gives
1) FREE unlimited alcohol - cocktails, champagne, wine, beer, etc even in ECONOMY class (note by law all airlines will cut you off if you appear drunk or had too much to drink) AND
2) FREE unlimited sandwiches, paninis (ask for it to be toasted), snacks, drinks, etc

AND
3) serves it's good food with real silverware (no plastic forks)

4) Customer service/attention is so good that even in economy class, I sneezed and within 30 seconds, the pretty stewardesses gave me a porcelain teapot with hot green tea and slices of fresh cut lemon, a box of tissues, & hot towel too!

5) All seats also have AC power outlets, USB ports, & personal HDTV

Singapore's home airport on most layovers is Singapore's Changi airport, also rated #1 --it's more like a luxury resort
with
6) FREE tropical gardens, waterfalls, & tons of free complimentary shaitsu rotating back massage chairs & free foot massage chairs, movie theaters, internet computers, gaming rooms with Playstation 4, Xbox 1, & PC gaming computers, as well as showers & swimming pools

Best /most recommended airport & airline.. you have to fly it /go there to experience it in person!

singapore airlines economy is amazing. hot face towels after take off, great food, blankets and pillows, socks and toothbrushes all complementary. excellent service for long international flights.

edit: as stated in other parts of this thread, economy class is provided with unlimited alcohol, sandwiches and snacks upon request. my flight to tokyo had a choice of japanese meals or western meals for lunch and dinner (all served with real silverware).

I mean a business class ticket is much more financially sound than a Vacheron Constantin or a Patek Phillipe (both of which have been posted on SD in the past)

Why not? 1st class tix have been known to go for $675 by mistake recently. Surprised that didn't get posted here before they pulled then honored the offer.

Repped, great deal for general travel / non-frequent flyers on one of the best airlines!

For frequent flyers: sample dates booked into K class for me, which earns 50% miles for Singapore's FF program, and 0 miles for Alaska's MileagePlus program. Alaska Elites (especially Gold/75k) might be better off waiting for a deal that earns miles given the distance of the flight.

Where can I go to see these types of price mistakes?
