Seems like a fair price... don't know about slick. Would be nice to know what CPU is actually in it though, since I couldn't find a single E6530 that comes with a 2.4Ghz i5 (as it states in the description).

The E6530 came with 3rd generation Intel processors, possible it's the i3 if the processor speed is correct or the i5 with the wrong MHz listed.

I have a Latitude E6540 for work and it has an i5-4310M@2.70Ghz 2 cores. Not sure if that will help anyone. Mine is a solid laptop and still works well and has good speed.

This is not a good laptop, I know first hand as we had a client that would buy these. They are pushing 5+ years old, slow hard drive, bad display, big and bulky, and battery might last you 2 hours if your lucky. I would spend a little more and get something newer. Check out Dell Outlet , they have 8th generation i3 Inseprons for $100 more. At least with that you get a faster and efficient CPU, smaller lighter laptop, and much newer hardware.

If your not in a hurry deals pop up on mid range laptops for under $400.

Funny you posted this, I bought one last night from the outlet! After the huge coupon and chat discount I scored this for $295 delivered. I know the screen isn't touch 1080p but it will work fine for me, I was happy to hear it comes with a single 8GB module so for about $40 or so I can stuff in another one and maybe a year down the road when 1TB SSD drives drop to $100 do that too.

These are usually about $100 on eBay. Sometimes missing an AC adapter or missing a HDD, but at most you'll spend less than $50 on missing parts. Missing HDD allows you to buy an SSD of your choice without having to deal with the old leftover HDD.

They're all 3rd gen i5-3xxxM btw. Not sure of the exact SKU but the performance difference isn't much between them. Solid machines, only a little thick for today's aesthetic standards.
