Please do correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think it has ever been free on the Nintendo Switch. While I agree with you that it sucks to pay for something that others may have gotten for free, how does that help Switch owners who want to add this game to their switch collection?

Nice deal. I didn't do well with the first one, I love horror in all media but games are often too immersive for me to play comfortably haha. The second one was interesting but I had no such issues chickening out. Something about the setting is less creepy but still creepy.

Couldn't agree more. Horror games now are so immersive I can barely play them through.

Great deal though, thanks OP!

I did, played through it all in VR. Certainly scary, but a game like Visage is scarier. Hopefully that will hit VR at some point.

Never played either game, but was thinking of choosing the sequel over the original to try out. Can anyone who's played through both games offer any input on whether or not that's the right call? Thanks!

We need Resident Evil 2 on the Switch! Might as well throw in all the RE series!

Good thing Nintendo has a great first party game library because it's third party sales can't hold a candle to Nintendo's rivals.
I recommend the first Outlast if picking up one of them only. Its the better game of the two.
