Doesn't it seem like this should be the regular price and when it goes on sale it should be less than 100 bucks?

FACTORY BLEMISHED = extra stock. It's brand new, sealed in box with full warranty just like you'd get at retail.

Excellent vac by the way, especially if you're already in the Ryobi One+ ecosystem.

I've been waiting for this to go on "sale"... Already have 1+ tools. Reviews say the suction is just as good as a Dyson. The new modified pre-filter makes it more efficient

Does any one know if this is the 2nd gen one or the one that tends to clog a lot and lose suction?

By the picture it looks like 1st Gen. I've heard that you can contact Ryobi to receive the pre filter for free. They just need the serial # off your unit.

From most of amazon's review. The filter tends to clog up fast with dust and etc for 1st gen ones. The 2nd gen has a pre-filter that deflects better and keeps the main filter from clogging. I just wish it was cyclonic like the dyson. For $129 it's not bad and I've been on the fence about it. Just wanted some other input on why this is good.

How well does this work on hardwood floors? Will the brush scratch them up? I see it doesn't have a soft roller option, and apparently you can't turn off the brush-spin either.

I bought it as I have a few 4ah batteries, but this is a pos. Worst suction when compared to dyson v6. I returned it.

Let's be realistic here. The vacuum is to tidy up.... It's not meant to be used as a shop vac or to clean up high traffic carpet areas. It's intended use is for tile, wood floors, and small carpet areas. The size of the debri cannister should imply that.
