Doesn't work well attaching to a wall. The metal part that surrounds this has magnets on it, so removing it and trying to place it directly on a tool chest doesn't seem to work. beware of that; these were apparently created to be put in the bottom of a drawer and stop things from moving.

So if you are expecting to attach it to the side of a tool box you are going to be disappointed like me.
I have a few of these, and when you pull the magnetic stainless front off the red frame you stick it on anything. The stainless front has the magnets. Not the red backing. It's meant to be screwed into a wall with the red backing. Tool chest... just stick it on without red metal backing.

When the backing is removed, there is almost no magnetism on mine. The tools will fall off the front. Both of mine exhibit the same thing. Could be a bad batch. YMMV. Looks like someone else had the same issue in the reviews on sears website as well.

Not a very strong magnetic
This is probably good for inside a drawer. You can stick it to the side of a cabinet but anything you put on it falls off.

If you have a Harbor Freight store local to you and have access to their coupons that come in the paper, I have managed to get several of their magnetic tool bars for free. They are 18" long and mount on 16" on center wall studs great in the garage.

Craftsman at Sears? What Sears? Why can't these deals pertain to Lowe's now, since they're the "New Home" of Craftsman...?
According to the commercial, Sears is the "real home of craftsman" and I would agree. The two store by me are almost always well stocked in tools.

What the hell. In for 5. I had points expiring tomorrow, so it cost me $0.77. I'll have to drive a half hour to get them now that our local Sears closed, but still worth it.

TYOP!

The closest sears is now 50+ miles away. I'll miss filling my garage with new tools I don't need Smilie ... but my wallet won't.
