Wait, I don't get it. This thing is in two pieces?
Yes. It has a removable steel backing (it's red) that can be screwed into a wall. Or you can pull out the stainless steel face and stick it directly to metal.

When the backing is removed, there is almost no magnetism on mine. The tools will fall off the front. Both of mine exhibit the same thing. Could be a bad batch. YMMV. Looks like someone else had the same issue in the reviews on sears website as well.
Yeah that's odd ...I just looked at mine and behind every part of silver there is magnet behind it. Holds ratchets solid. I ordered 6 more for my bench.... hope they're not duds.

Mine shows 21st. You can't ship to stores that are already in liquidation. Whatever ship to options you have listed at purchase are totally fine.

No, they couldn't so that. They are already bankrupt. If you meant liquidate? Yes, that could certainly happen but I doubt they would do that as it would amount to stealing with no consideration given in return. They would most likely cancel the payment before it even gets to that point.

Do they even charge the card before the item is ready for pick up? I always assumed not, but I never thought to check.

There's still a Sears alive somewhere?

TBH I don't think pick-up only Sears ads should be allowed on SD.
Why not? I was just there yesterday.

There are still enough around in enough areas. People post Fry's stuff all the time and there isn't a Fry's anywhere near here.

They're kind of past that point bro. They're not sitting around in a billion dollars of debt plotting their next move of SD accounts
Hmmm...but that might explain *why* they're in a billion dollar hole as well 🤔

I've never even heard of Frys or Menards yet always see stuff from there as well

Sears seems to be doing better here in the northeast than other parts of the country, only a closing here or there. All 3 of the ones that I've gone to over the last 10 years are still open. Last time I went to look at tools I had to wait in line for 10 minutes

What the hell. In for 5. I had points expiring tomorrow, so it cost me $0.77. I'll have to drive a half hour to get them now that our local Sears closed, but still worth it.

TYOP!
Haha, same, I'm on the $25/week ration for the next 10 weeks. Still makes it worth it to pay for shipping, I paid $11 for 4 or 5 with my ration.

Had these for a while. Picked up two more. Hot glued (10) 1 inch dot magnets I picked up at the dollar store and mounted on a wall in my shed. All items stay on just fine. Keep on out when Im working on the car to catch nuts and bolts and sockets. This at $6.00 each is great deal. I paid $10 for 2 at a garage sale. Thanks for the post OP! In for two more!

What are the slotted depressions for?
Sliding tool holder accessories and also another way to attach it to a wall or tool box.

The magnets are VERY strong on these, be careful not to pinch a finger if you remove the plate from the backing.

These come with a steel backing/mounting plate that can be attached to a wall or other non-metallic surface. To mount to a steel tool box, remove the metal backing plate and stick the magnet plate to the steel wall.
