I bought this blanket for my son that is on the spectrum, and also has sensory processing disorder. We don't have huge melt downs like in the past but he does get very upset and fast. This has been a great tool to add to our applied therapies for him!
These blankets can cost hundreds of dollars and I think this was priced fair. The cheapest I have come across and is good quality! I attached the stock photo from walmart and a persona; photo of my kiddo!

I have one that I purchased from Amazon. But that one, the beads seems to have shifted to the sides so I'm trying this one out instead

Was looking for larger & heavier one.
Might pick up a plush 60" x 70" 18lb one from Kohl's [kohls.com] for $119

Any opinion on weight? At what weight is dangerous for a 65lb or 50lb child

It's supposed to be about 10% of the person's body weight, so I wouldn't go over 7lbs for a 65lbs child.

From what I've read, it is recommended to be between 8% - 12% of body weight, so 4lb - 8lb would be the range.

My son has SPD and we've been looking at these a bit. Is $52 a good deal price for the 15lb blanket?
