It's okay. I would go with something a little bit faster though. Like a GTX 1070 or Vega. The 8GB of VRAM is great, however. It also depends on the type of NLE that you are using.

Davinci Resolve 15, for instance, recommends a minimum of 32GB RAM and a RX580 or a GTX 1070 for the GPU.

I've been using Resolve with a core i7-3770k mild overclock (upgraded cooler of course) with Intel integrated gfx for a couple years now. It was completely usable with that setup at 1080p, although of course for some operations I would have time to grab lunch while it crunched.

I think this rx570 will be a big performance boost so I bit the bullet. Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough, but this is literally the first decent gfx card deal I've seen in 2 years.

Not worth switching unless you really need more VRAM or the FreeSync.

Is this card between the 1050ti and 1060? Is it a side grade or upgrade from a 3gb 1060

It would only be side grade for you guys unless you need the extra VRAM or FreeSync capabilities.

EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2GB FTW GAMING Video Card $130AR I bought on 05.2018. Worth the upgrade?
Currently have an old 21.5 Acer G215HV Widescreen (1920x1080) VESA monitor still using which works fine..Im guessing since its VESA that means Freesync?? Will upgrade my CPU/MOBO/and monitor later on...

This is on par with a 1060 6gb and the rx580 8gb beats the 1060 6gb
