Does anyone know if Newegg will price match? I bought this card last night at $180 -$20 rebate. Just wondering if they'd refund me $30 - the card hasn't even shipped yet

aren't one much better off buying the 580 for 166 than this for 150 - 20 dollar rebate? there is a chance that rebate may not come back.
Do you have a link to this 580, and how much ram does it have?

Nice! I'm a medium gamer and I haven't upgraded since I bought my HD7850 like 5 years ago. Great time to upgrade and get away from my Xbox a bit. Thanks OP!

Overkill for this old Optiplex 7010 i5-3570? I have 16GB RAM on the way today, so I'll have 20 GB of RAM in it.

https://www.dell.com/support/home...figuration

From what I understand, I'll need a new power supply (it has 275 stock).

It has 1 full height PCIe x16, 1 full height PCIe x16 (wired x 4), 1 full height PCIe x1, 1 full height PCI

Not really overkill, but I think the bigger issue is the power supply. SOME of the Dell stuff is unique power supplies. For this card you really need ~450wats. Separate from that make sure you have enough PCI Express Power cables for this. From the pictures on NewEgg it uses a single 8-pin PCIE power connection.

For the amount of effort to make this work, you might be better off finding a card that doesn't need any supplemental PCIE power (or less than a single 8 pin).

Runs way better for 1050Ti which is significantly more expensive than this card and this can give performance in the ball park of 1060. Also native Freesync support.
For 1080p, of course this card can run those game at 60fps, if not at Ultra then High with some tweaks.
You can't go wrong with this price for a brand new card........ This is it thanks to the flood of used miner card.

Thank you for the link to that good video comparison on youtube. it was very helpful. I was looking for gtx 1060 for my budget build but this is more tempting deal. Repped!

Newegg really wants to go out of business. I am aware they got hacked, but cmon dont decline paypal methods. Third attempt of trying to process order..

Paypal: Payment declined (yes, addresses and names match up exactly/used it many times before for Newegg)
MasterPass: have to go thru authentication verification (re-enter name, social#, etc)
