Adorama must have a ton of stock they need to push via SD before they eat it on taxes.

Looks like the same sponsored bundle previously posted but with a soon to be discontinued 2018 receiver added. Denon's new models will start shipping in April and prices will drop on these.

The previous sponsored deal was $700 without a receiver.

Denon S640H +$230 ($380 MSRP)
Denon S740H +$300 ($480 MSRP)
Denon S940H +$370 ($580 MSRP)

Pardon my ignorance, but are these speakers wireless? It doesn't say much under the specs
No they are not. They are passive speakers and require a receiver to drive them. Wireless speakers are active and have an internal amplifier to drive them.

using your logic one would never buy anything because new model is going to be released soon...

are the price those receivers good? is the price on bundle good?

Never said buy or wait. That is up to the individual user to decide for themselves. I simply provided the information that 2018 models are going to be replaced in the near future.

Personally I look at refurbished prices on receivers to determine if the new price is good or not. Typically the closer the new price gets Accessories4Less refurbished prices, the better the deal.

Denon S640H +$230 ($380 MSRP) Refurbished $200 [accessories4less.com]
Denon S740H +$300 ($480 MSRP) Refurbished $250 [accessories4less.com]
Denon S940H +$370 ($580 MSRP) Refurbished $300 [accessories4less.com]

Thankfully these sponsored deals are posted very regularly. So good or bad, it doesnt matter. If you miss this deal, there will be another one right around the corner at the same or similar price.

understood. then, the q is: compare to refurb prices, in your opinion, are these good prices for new receivers with full warranty from an authorized dealer?

Personally I don't think any of the sponsored Klipsch deals are good. This particular bundle (without the receiver) was just released a few months ago and has an MSRP of $1400, but is regularly posted here for $700 and they are still making profit even after Slickdeals and Adorama each take their cut.

The only logical reason that something regularly sells for 50% of MSRP, is that the MSRP is artificially inflated in order to give "sales". It is the same thing Invicta does with their watches. When a brand is known for large markdowns to their MSRP, it is difficult to determine what the actual value is and know if you are getting a good deal or not.

the deal is not sponsored but if you don't believe me, that's fine. 2nd, your example of invicta is flawed, because invicta is high msrp and 80% off at most places. this is not the case. only other time I seen these on sale is fry's in store/pick-up, who save on shipping and where you pay tax.
If it's not sponsored, then why is the slickdeals link required to get the price? You can't get that price by searching their website.

cause these deals were sent to previous adorama customers. i am sure there are many companies who offer promo's to their customers via coupons/etc.

sd sponsored implies somehow our involvement. and it's not.
