Garbage. Don't buy it.
I got an exactly same one. Even in the same room and even the signal shows good, the network is still unstable and slow.

Second this. I run the titan in my car with a hard drive connected for long road trips with three kids running kodi on their tablets.

Which one would you recommend? I was looking at AR150 as most Hotels probably don't give more than 10Mbps

I have the GL-AR300M16-Ext and love it. It has OpenWRT pre-installed with OpenVPN. GL.iNet is going to push there 3.x firmware soon to as well which has a slick interface. If you want to access more advanced features of OpenWRT the luci GUI is installed and accessible right of the box.

You are right some hotels don't have internet exceeding 10mbps and don't have an Ethernet port either in the rooms, but sometimes you can tap into the wired ethernet connection going into the TV as long as they don't have it locked to a specific MAC address otherwise you have to find the MAC address of the TV and more than 10mbps is possible

Have this hooked up to a printer in client mode for a few years now. I have to restart it every couple of days. I need to look for alternatives.

You do (or hotel, in the above discussion). A personal router creates a local network which allows you to connect your multiple devices to each other and one outside network/internet connection. You're thinking of a hotspot, which this is not.

So to you, $20 is the same as $26?
