If you can't justify the price, take a free Apple sticker that came with your 1499 iPhone XS Max and slap it on the lid. You'll still have a machine 2x better than Apple MacBook Pro. 😂

Here is the downside
Intel 620
non 4k of for a non gaming laptop

I think the Lenovo Yoga 720 might be a better deal.
upside: 2.5lbs
11hrs battery life on a 4C/8T CPU

I dont know but I think 7700 should be enough processing power in my opinion. Battery life on yoga is 8 hours too. So $825 vs this $1349 ... Personal opinion, buy what suits you Smilie

Once you've gone below 2.75lbs, everything else feels like a brick. My last laptop was a tote-able 2.6lb with CF chassis, but my current 4.4lb (7700HQ/GTX 1060) laptop is still backpack material. Even the 3lb XPS13 9360 feels like a clunker when single-handing it.

To put the featherweight into perspective--the Macbook "Air" is a quarter-pound heavier than this laptop. These have been refreshed though, so expect steeper price cuts of the remaining stock.

This is a pretty high price for only a 1080p screen.

Pros and cons. I'm fine with 1080p because it's a small screen and it means way better battery life.

Depends what exactly you mean by that . Just based on specs this is a quad core I7, So it should meet most performance needs. If you're constantly running Parallel Heavy loads you should probably get a desktop. This is a very good pro user laptop will probably satisfy most of your high performance needs

Two different operating systems. Of course you know that.
