I have this scale and I really like it for my pour overs.

It goes into the 0.1g, which is unlike my other food scales. I like that it doesn't auto turn off (when timer is running), which prevents the frustration of a scale turning off in the middle of a pour. The timer function is super handy, even though I usually have my cell phone (calculator and timer) at hand.

I have the scale and I like it.
2 warnings:
1 - it's a bit slow counting up grams
2 - don't use for spro. The 1/10th or grams is not reliable.

I'd recommend the kettle over the scale. There are alternative scales for less but Hario goose-neck kettle is a must in order to have any control over your pour. Alternative brands goose-necks fell apart on me. For digital scale, just make sure it has extended auto-shutoff so it doesn't go dark on you mid-pour.
I manual brew every morning and once I had everything dialed in I can get away without a scale but no way I could brew without the goose-neck. I happily paid $60+ for the Hario kettle 5 years ago, $30s is a steal.

Kettle isn't worth it when you can get the BonaVita one with built in temperature gauge and heater for about the same price on sale.

Set it to 200 and walk away. Come back in a few min and it's ready...and stays at the temp you set.

Plenty of cheaper kettles no doubt but worthless if they don't last. May be my luck but I had a Bonavita and the spout broke when I was just cleaning it. Another one the handle fell off. Neither lasted more than a year or two. My Hario is a workhorse and gets the job done day in day out. Had it for more than 5 years and still going strong.
