Be aware this TV was $699 during Black Friday.

It's newer 6300 version is pretty blotchy with a funky RGBW pixel structure too, so I'd pass on this one.

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uk6300 in case anyone wants a general idea of this panel's highs and lows.

Amazing lag time, but everything else is atrocious. Far better to give up the extra 5 inches and get the TCL 6 series for the same price.

Cute that you added a 9 to my quote, but the 77" C8 has been shared here for under $5K. Double fail!

Those reviews are based on the IPS panel models of this TV. Also, I believe the uk6190 is closer to the uk6570, except the 6190 is missing some of the smart remote features.

The 70" is the only TV in the line up that has a VA Panel. IMO, this TV has good/excellent blacks, though it could be brighter.

If it were $699 again, I would seriously consider a second one.

Legit deal for a 70" budget TV. Wouldn't expect it to be OLED at this price, but fine for a casual consumer or someone wanting to play games.

Misleading subject line for deal, so I will downvote.

All TVs are LED, but you used it here to imply this is an OLED TV. This needs to stop on slickdeals.
Just...no. OP didn't write OLED in the title. How do you know what OP's motivation was?

Is there another exactly 70 inch TV that performs better in a similar price range (up to$1k)? Primary focus would be sports+movies

I'm no expert for full disclosure, but I've been looking into the vizio e70-f3, and it does a bit better on those fronts from reviews: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...eries-2018

Target has it on sale for $899 right now, and I've been really close to pulling the trigger on it...but may hold out for a good 75inch deal. It sounds like it's one of the better 70inchers for all around at this price range. Worth reading the Rtings/watching their youtube review of it. Also note, it may have gotten down to $799 around black friday, so could be why there isn't a current thread about this Target deal. Might not be super slick, just a semi deal.

That's fine a few of us reported him for trolling. Even his name is a derivative of the word troll. Trolololo

How do you get OLED from LED? It clearly states LED. Relax my dude.
