I've owned both the 700 and 650. I'm of the opinion that the rechargeable battery option is worth it. For me it's worth $10 so you don't have to remove the battery to recharge the remote.

Just go to their website and find the one that suits your needs. For me, the only thing worthy of use in my home theater is the Harmony Elite... and even that comes up a little short.... but Logitech doesn't seem to have any legit competition anymore. They're basically the EA Sports of universal remotes. :-(

Always see these remotes have sales here and there. Has Logitech made any updated model(s) that are a must over each model?

Only diff between this and $30 harmony 650 is rechargeable batteries. Not worth it IMO.

I have the Harmony 700 and use it all of the time. The advantage it is even works with some old devices. I still have an old Laser Disk player all the way to the new Vizio P series TV and it works on everything. Will not work on devices that are not IR controlled, like Amazon TV. The rechargeable batteries seem to last forever.

I find the rechargeable batteries to be a big plus over the 650. The remote uses micro USB for charging. I find I have to charge it about once a month.

I set of Energizer AA batteries run my 650 over 2 years. Is it worth the hassle to get this 700 and charge it every month or so?
