Gameplay trumps graphics. I've generally had more fun with retro/indie titles than AAA games in recent years.

Yeah, it's similar in style, but a much heavier focus on puzzles and little tricks like that. I actually really liked both, but in the end preferred Ittle Dew 2+ over it. The combat may feel a little wonky at times (especially in the beginning), but the crux of the game is its vast array of very interesting and unique puzzles along with the really fun setting.

VVVVVV is great. Definitely a steal at this price, and especially if you haven't played it before.

Ahhh crap I just picked up End is Nigh at Best Buy for $15.... physical. Dammit. Spend the time to return and get digital or just keep physical for significantly less. Probably return and rebuy digital -__-

Very nice. I highly recommend Ittle Dew 2+ and Cave Story+. Really fun games, especially Ittle Dew 2+. It's a bit of a Zelda LttP clone with a much bigger focus on puzzles.

Could you compare it to Blossom Tales (not on sale, but similar community tagline)?

I was really disappointed in Mr Tako. It's really boring, uninspired level design

So for Ittle Dew 2, does it require having played the first?
