Snag one for a sibling who does nothing but web browse and Netflix. Is it possible to add or swap out for a SSD?

Should be swappable... never seen a mechanical hard drive soldered to a motherboard before. Smilie

But have them try it first... for just browsing, the (slow) 5400rpm drive is probably still adequate.

Possible, but some might be harder than others to swap.

lol.. it's all good man (or woman?). I was just being facetious.

In my experience though, 15" models rarely have space inside for a second HDD. 17" (especially business models) sometimes will.

Not sure if exact same model/options, but looks like it has m.2 slot for SSD...

It looks like this model does have an m.2 slot for an SSD in addition to the hard drive. I do not have this computer so I take no responsibility if it doesn't
