There are only 35 yards of tape per roll, so factor that into your price comparisons.

Wow. In for 4. This stuff is always super expensive in store.

Edit: ended up getting 3 packs with some other items in my cart. Given that this isn't a pricing error, have tape to last a very long while now. The cheap duck brand $1.12 tape in store is longer, but always so hard to find in stock these days, and it's not close to as thick/sticky = I can use much less tape.
A 10% off coupon I had gotten from my last pick up order made it even sweeter. For those of you who are swagbucks members, you can add to your order the 2pk of coffeemate 35.3oz canisters for only $10.36 and get 25$ back in (2200) swagbucks for that purchase from just uploading a pic of the confirmation. Can only be for ship to home. Was just waiting for something else I needed to buy along with it to reach the 35$ minimum, so the timing on this was great. Can't get better than getting paid about 14$ to get free coffee creamer.

I use 3M clear tape to cover shipping labels to keep cheap laser toner from rubbing off. Bought a pack of 8 for $10 at costco 20 yrs ago. Now 8 pack costs $23+tx. Need something cheaper. Is this a good deal?

The difference between the duck brand and 3m tapes from this one is that this Trex tape works.

I found that cheap brands lose stickiness quickly. So boxes I taped in the garage and attic fall apart after a few months and even extra tape rolls dry out. Paying a bit extra for good tape lasts forever.

So if you use it to mail packages regularly and there's no need for longevity, it's all good. If you use it around the house for things that need to last, I'd get better tape.

3M also works fine for covering labels. No pick up option for this tape. $6 shipping .35c tax kill it for me (

Checked prior to my order and one of my stores has it @ $4 too....but it's not my closest store and honesty too lazy to bother so the $5.22 will do lol, plus for my purposes I had to make my order ship to home. For those that don't have it at their closest store at that price though (I'm now seeing the tape as no longer available for shipping) it seems you can bring up the Walmart link for any store you see that does have it for 4.00 and it'll show up with that pricing....they should be able to price match for you at any Walmart. My closest store has them at $10 apparently.

Also at Walmart for $1.12.....though it's nowhere near heavy duty like I assume this is ....so I have to layer it on sometimes for my packages to feel secure...won't have to do that with this...so can utilize 2-3x less tape, thus saving money in the end. Will keep buying the duck brand cheap tape for very light packages, but this one seems perfect for heavier stuff.
