Umm, sorry .. what does that mean? Is it a positive or negative - or meant only for gaming? Don't know much about it.

Edit: for folks like me, here's good education: https://www.gamersnexus.net/guide...pls-va-crt

It's meant to give information and be factual about the type of panel this is. Some people's needs are different and will require IPS or others don't mind a cheaper TN to have better specs elsewhere.

Understood, just didn't know what TN was, if good or bad - which was what I was trying to get. The article made me understand, so all good now!

I don't understand why the hell most of these manufactures can't make a decent 24 inch 1080P or 2K monitor with a 75hz refresh rate, 2 hdmi ports and built in speakers for around $100. Spectre is the only one that has one on amazon for $98 dollars. It would be nice if there was some kind of a variety.

I won't go into all the scientific details. But generally, TN panels operate with a faster response time, as seen here (2ms), and generally are more budget-friendly. IPS generally has better viewing angles, and better picture quality. So for online gaming, TN is the "better" choice. But, I have never owned a TN panel so I can't give an opinion on the display.

With that said, I may jump on this deal and see what TN is all about.

Right on, I want something just like that too, 24" is the perfect size to have a 3 monitor setup for me, and have extra hdmi ports to plug into my display hub for my laptop.

So the deal breaker here is the fact NVIDIA only support FreeSync via DisplayPort, at least for now. In the other words, get this only if you are using AMDs.
