This seems to be priced between the last two front page posts. I missed it last time, so I'm glad it's back!

Great deal. I picked one up a couple months ago. Won't work if you have any type of case on your 3ds though.

Thanks! Is it only compatible with the n3dsxl, and not just the n3ds?

can you check the voltage on this, I think these have voltage higher than the original chargers.
Which can damage the battery on longer run.

the power plug works in all the 3ds', but the dock only fits the new one. I suppose you could dremel out the plastic notch that is in the way then the dock may work.

I think the 2ds xl uses the same adapter as the 3ds. So you could use this, but you may have to unplug it from the dock to charge it directly.

I just bought this. Original charger is 4.6v 900ma, this is 5v 1a. Not sure if that makes a difference in battery longevity. What's nice is the new brick can take input 100-240v, 50-60hz so it can be used internationally (with an adapter). The original charger is US only. Looks like you can forego the "dock" too if you want, since the wall plug has the 3ds plug on the end of it

Interestingly I just read the original charger also puts out 5v even though it says 4.6v. So this charger is probably fine if that's true, saw it in reddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/3DS/comm...h=91f579ec

This is nice because the AC adapter for the dock also fits directly to the New 3DS and can be used without dock.

This would be super tempting if I knew it was compatible with the Hori cover. Too bad it most likely isn't.
