Is Lowe's sweepstakes entry reviews free product reviews? Seems fishy.

Thanks for the info. In my area, it's $16.78. I wonder if this is a regional deal?

For some insane reason, the local Lowe's stores were crammed with cheaply made Craftsman items this past holiday season. Everything was priced too high and the Lowe's employees had no idea of who would warranty the more expensive products. But, Lowe's said you could return them to the store if they were bad out of the box. No thanks.

The sad fact is Craftsman is a damaged brand at this point. It is not a brand name to be respected. It is a brand to be avoided. I don't know what Lowe's management was thinking.

The made in USA craftsman tools with a excellent lifetime replacement policy have been dead for over a decade. The tool people were some of the most loyal and last to walk away from Sears. Most of the Craftsman people have left Sears. Mostly due to problems with Sears itself.

If you need the blades and consider the price good for a no name brand blade, the by all means go for it. Just don't grab Craftsman deals thinking you are getting a high end Quality product. It probably isn't.

Low quality Chinese blades. No better than what comes on many budget saws from the factory. For rough ripping they'll be fine but don't expect to get hundreds of cuts with these.

The carbide teeth are horrid quality....anemic Chinese junk. These turds aren't worth the packaging they're in. It's so friggin disgusting what Crapsman has done to their tools. Who's brilliant idea was it to have a race to the bottom with Harbor Freight? And why is Lowe's damaging their reputation carrying this garbage?

For cutting questionable material that I don't want to use my Forrest on, I'll take it. I'm in for two packs. $6.98 per pack at my local Lowe's; $14 and change out the door for 4 disposable blades.

I second the thought. This is not a bad plan.
