I'd wait this out. The same seller drops this to $2099 from time to time. I bought from the same seller at $2099 on 12/3/18. Then the price has fluctuated up and down since then.

I can vouch for the seller though. Tv was delivered in perfect condition.

is this an authorized Samsung dealer?

If so...$2099 is a heck of a price

I suspect this TV is going to be discontinued soon
Samsung is typically on 1 year model cycles

If I am going to spend this much on a 65", I would probably get the LG OLED.

No not an authorized Samsung dealer, however I used to work for a TV repair shop that was Samsung authorized and in my experience if a customer did not have a sales receipt then Samsung will still honor warranty repairs based on the manufacture date that is coded in the serial number.
