I would not trust some online shops for fragrances. There are issues with quality and authenticity from some resellers. Nordstrom, Macys, Neiman, and so on are retail shops that receive and store these products through the proper channels. For example, I bought a bottle of Creed GIT from an amazon seller and it WAS NOT GREEN IRISH TWEED. I was refunded my money and Amazon didn't bother with the return. I still have the bottle for decoration and I do not wear it. I bought a flacon a year later and I refill an atomizer every once and a while.

Another thing to look for from these labels is the term parfum v. toilette. All fragrances purchased from these retailers have some amount of alcohol in them, but parfum has less alcohol and more fragrance. Therefore, parfum will cost more than its toilette cousin. Some online retailers benefit from a buyers ignorance on this and sell cheaper bottles with toilette concentrations.

Everyone is different. There is no right cologne. Go into a department store and smell. Then get a few samples and try at home.

I've been in a fragrance craze for a month. Assuming you're a guy I love Versace Dylan Blue and so do girls. And it's not expensive for 1.7 oz. I've sampled over 10 fragrances in the past month and this one has had the most positive reaction.

I built up quite the collection of colognes. Im 33, and probably use them maybe 10 times a year, and its generally the same one.

So what do you recommend as a light everyday perfume?

"...and more flavor"

Are these typically used as mixers? Or do you recommend drinking them straight?

And your comparison is Nordstrom for online prices? How about all the online shops such as Frangrance.net etc...

I still wear Lacoste Essential, it's been my go-to light fragrance for years. D&G Light Blue Zest is also a good one that is pretty new but I can't find any cheap testers. I like Lacoste because I can get a tester in 3.4 for $35.

Cheap is all an illusion in the world of fragrances!! Not saying I don't like them, they are just always expensive even on a deal. Just a perspective so don't shout at me!!
