So this is why the 6s deal stopped, decent deal but nowhere as good as the port 1 line get free 4 iphones 6s. Lots of people took advantage of that offer and I'm still salty for not being able to replicate that deal once. The amount of lies metropcs employees will tell you to protect their commissions is unbelievable

Maybe you're not familiar with how commission works in the cellular industry. Activations make up the largest potential amount of commission. I say "potential" because many companies will reduce your payout % if you don't hit your monthly activation quota . So it's possible that a sales rep might make more selling accessories or features if they were to fail to hit their quota. However, the opposite is usually also true. Higher % over quota, higher % payout.

The only time a rep would lie to you and turn down new activations for the purpose of protecting his or her commission would be if you're a known scammer in the area. Then they would do it in order to protect their job.

They might lie to you for other reasons, like for instance because you're an A-hole, an idiot and/or you show up 10 minutes before closing.

My guess is they didn't lie to you and really just told you something you didn't believe was true...Like for instance, because you are:
1. Switching from T-Mobile, a subsidiary of T-Mobile or an MVNO running on T-Mobile.
2. Frequently porting in and out of Metro by T-Mobile.
3. Porting over from a VoIP or internet based provider.
4. In an area without coverage...Which has nothing to do with your address and everything to do with the area your mobile number's prefix was designated for.

Hope this gives you a bit of perspective.

If have to stick on metro pcs for 6mo, only plan options I see for 1 phone are $60 unlimited or $30 for 2GB. That's it? Moving number off $25 / mo unlimited would make that def not a free SE.
