I'd have to drive an hour and a half for these. Great for those who can get it, though.

Bettet if wrenches were 6 pt. But for price is good. If your a heavy mechanic you may want to reconsider a spend on the 6 pt.
Good all around set.

Lowes.com is acting screwy again. Web site and BrickSeek says there's 11 available, but I cant check out because pick up is not available. LOL And so far this morning, 5/7 of the Lowes orders from yesterday have been cancelled.

6 point combo wrenches? There is a reason that 98% of combo wrenches are 12-point, i.e., so you can fit them in tight spots. I have 6-point wrenches my father-in-law left me (RIP) and they are much less practical for doing engine work. I've never stripped a bolt using a 12-point wrench, a socket yes, a wrench no. At least not that I can remember. The reason 12-point sockets strip bolts more is because they are harder to keep straight when applying torque, and the socket ends up crooked on the bolt and keeps slipping and stripping the bolt head.
Exactly. A six-point box end would have to be able to turn through 60 degrees to be able to get it on and/or repositioned. In most crowded engine bays, that just isn't happening.

Made 7 orders from 3 stores in KC metro. Only 1 ready to pick-up. The others have not been cancelled from the last 3 days. What gives?
