The current FP deal is $290 new, the previous best I noted for refurb was $239.99 via Rakuten.

Personally I try to buy most electronics as refurbs, as long as the discount is notable.

These are the latest (version 3) of the WH1000 headphones, they finally use a USB-C connection - yay! These are the best Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones for music listening out now IMHO. (Not the best for talking on the phone, but the best for listening)

What? Why TD? If you don't like refurb, give it a pass. This is a good deal if you're OK with "certified refurbished".

I'm guessing because after amazon adds tax, it's lukewarm at best. What are you saving, like 15 bucks over the deal for new?

Thanks for the feedback. $35 less seems significant to me. Not sure how the tax would be a factor since theoretically of one vendor charges tax another would. But I live in Delaware and don't normally have to think about it.
