This is only a lukewarm deal on the cheaper receivers. I bought a TX-NR787 for $499 on Amazon last week. Yes, the regular price is normally $599. The RZ830 can be bought on most sites for $850. The RZ920 can be bought for $999 from most sites. So, let's do the math. Newegg has the RZ830 for $1300 and you get a $550 Newegg gift card. This means you really have to fork out the $1300 and then use the $550 credit on New Egg. This would bring the receiver total to $750 "IF" you were already planning to spend an additional $550 on New Egg products. If that is the case, it is a deal. If you were not intending on buying more products from New Egg, well now you are forced into it, keeping in mind you have to first fork out the whole $1300 up front. So would I do it......ONLY if I already knew that I was planning to purchase at least $500 in additional products from New Egg. Just food for thought!
