I hate the misleading FP post that makes it seem that this is $60 when it's actually a different jacket for 60

Columbia 2: electric bugaboo.

No suitable for skiing, it's not wind proof at all.

Plus you'll look like a 80's gaper......unless you want that.

Would have got it if they had the neon green and yellow colored ones.

Looking for good ski gear ... that men's jacket looks nice but a little short for the slopes.

Unfortunately best prices come after winter season, the outlet stores like North face (if you have one near you) or Columbia will have amazing prices with 50%+ off. There is a pretty impressive sale at Columbia outlet stores (I was in Hagerstown, MD) and saw a lot of 3/4 length jackets with the reflective metallic interior that would be great for skiing ($7x.xx pricing)

Oddly, I used to sell a ton of Columbia jackets (this exact model) at Britches great outdoors back in the 80s. This was an awesome jacket back then ($139 on sale). If you don't fall or ski with a bib (lol) then this jacket will work. Time to find some straight super skinny and long Rossignol skis with Tyrolia bindings to complete the 80s look on the slopes... Lol

There wasn't any deals it's was rare. But the American dollar was worth more and times were much easier and fun. Nobody wore condoms and nobody was so easily insulted. Oh and no germaphobes.

Would the Bugaboo be good enough while visiting New York City in February? I live in Houston, so zero knowledge regarding cold weather clothing.
