The days of hoarding Lego in the hope of one day reselling for a profit is fast coming to an end. The China factory Lego opened in 2016 has given them the ability to supply any demand and in some cases even surpass it. 40% off Lego was extremely rare pre 2016.

Once it's retired they don't reproduce for a while. Resell has taken a hit but there's still money to be made.

Lego DOES NOT have any factory in China, you are sadly mistaken!
