I have one on a Kill a Watt meter and it shows $6.57 a year @ 13 cents a kWh.Leave it in auto and never shut it off.

Trash. Bought two and both fans are unbalanced: one chirps, one clicks. Since the first was bought from Costco through Google Express I had to go through Winix for a return and they wanted me to pay the return shipping. Second was bought through Woot. Got a partial refund of $14. Should have opted for the return earlier, but I thought the chirping had resolved itself. Buyer be warned!!!

It looks like Winix sells these for the same price directly from their website but with a 1-yr warranty insteady of 90 days through Woot. However it's currently out of stock.

Good deal. I own two of these and they work very well.

Unit is refurbished but comes with 1 year supply of new filters (1 hepa, 4 carbon filters).

I saw these at Costco. These were probably Costco returns. Maybe it is time to get one.

These are good units in terms of purification for the price. The problem is they are someone noisy and don't move air very well. I couldn't sleep with mine on and it would have to run all day to to get ride of the pet dander

The filter replacement looks to be kind of expensive.

Rather wait for Costco deal priced at 100 with 2 year supply. Not to mention, generous return policy if needed.

The Plasmawave tech makes odd chirping and clicking sounds. I turn it off since I prefer not using any plasma/ionizer/ozonator in an air purifier. It's something to consider with Winix purifiers, but functionality remains competitive even without this feature.
Costco purchases should be linked to your membership in Google Express now, which was an issue early on. I've also had no issues with Woot returns for defects. I think you just got unlucky a few too many times with this purchase...
