Costco has the QuickJack online for $999 with free shipping again. It seems like this comes and goes at this price but the website shows the price being valid from 2/1/19 thru 2/28/19 this time.

I've been thinking about buying one for awhile, so I jumped on it.

They make a 7000 pound model for those that insist on driving big bloated vehicles.

Wish Costco would sell the 7000lb model - it doesn't weigh much more, but it'd be a no brainer for a couple hundred more. It is $1500 shipped normally, so still a decent value for a 3.5 ton low-rise lift with open access to the undercarriage.

You guys need to keep in mind that as EVs grow in popularity, so will vehicle weight relative to its size. The Tesla Model S is right at the 5,000lb mark. A Model 3 is 20% lighter, with a smaller battery.

Been wanting one of these for a while, but I still gotta hold off so I can put a mini split in the garage in the spring. Will definitely pop for one soon though!

Was it able to handle your weight when you jumped on it??

But seriously folks, go to Canada where the sell the 7000lb version for less than $150 more (after currency conversion).

Wonder if they'll bring it to this side of the border. $1150 after conversion is an excellent price for that model...

its the same as the damn gutter covers. I saw those at costco and thought this is the best way to go. gutter guy shows up and says I have no clue why Costco would sell these because no one has 5" gutters anymore. Back to costco it all went.

I just got mine delivered and setup. I knocked out a oil change and full tire rotation in about 15 min on our Honda Ridgeline.

Easy initial setup. Only thing it doesn't come with was some ATF which I picked up at the local automotive store. The packaging comes in 3 large boxes. Some of the negative reviews on Costco are from delivery issues, but I had no problems at all. **If your car/suv has pinch welds at the lift points, go on amazon and pick up a set of pucks with the slit in the middle for $20. Quickjack charges $90 for their version, and it doesn't come with the lift itself.

For anyone who wrenches on their own cars, its a no-brainer IMO, especially if a 2 or 4 post lift is out of the question.

Sweet deal. I just want to point out that these are heavy and not very mobile. The amount of time it takes to setup is probably equivalent to jut raising your car with a jack and putting jack stands under it. Even with a lowered car, just put down some 2x4's and drive up on them before jacking the car up. Having said that, if you were able to keep these semi setup in the garage they would be nice to have.
