We have the previous version of these from Sennheiser and they are very good. Been using them for 7 years now.

Ahhhhh man. Just what I need, another pair of headphones. :/ First world problems. I've been eyeballing these for a while. Good deal. What newsletter did this come in?

Can someone please enlighten me as to why this kind of stuff isn't available all over the place at a much lower cost and with normal earbuds? I've been looking for a "I wanna watch the tube using wireless earbuds and not wake up the baby" deal, but this is just too much money and I hate all the bulk.

I agree. For me, all future tv purchases gotta have Bluetooth

Rocking a dual 185 (single bass). Good sound, comfy.
You need to avoid 2.4 GHz WiFi though. For example, if starts downloading something on my phone while I have the headset on, sound will interrupt.

I highly recommend the 185 (even more expensive) - open back so you can hear if the baby is crying.

That's fine if you live alone, but bluetooth audio is useless if there's more than one of you that wants to hear the TV.

I use two of these: https://www.ebay.com/p/Plantronic...610&chn=ps
and this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KO1JNCA
I bought for slightly cheaper, but even at these prices they are cheaper than this deal for two.

Advantages: Smaller, lighter weight headset. More comfortable headset. Seriously look at any review for them - the most comfortable headset for all day wear reviewers have experienced. Active Noise Cancelling with toggle. Cooler looking charge station (imho). Uses Bluetooth so more versatile. The headphone itself can connect to 2 devices at once. So you can have it connected and listening to the TV and your phone so if someone calls- boom, you can answer right there with its on ear mic.

The only negative at all is the sound quality is not worth the $300 MSRP... good thing that Ebay seller is only selling them for $125, which is a damn good price for the sound quality.

I seriously would reconsider this type of dedicated purchase especially with that other guy saying 2.4ghz wifi signals tend to interfere.

I had the 180's, and although the sq was decent, my friend old $100 wired pair of 598's we're an upgrade. Since then, I've uprlgraded a few times.
My next goal is to get a spare Chromecast audio, connect it to a 8000-10000 mAh battery bank, and stream everything from my PC wirelessly.
As far as volume control, there's a few of them out there. Hopefully with minimal circuitry, and able to take line out amplitudes.
