I have this exact monitor from years ago and still operational.

one of the biggest problem i have is that, if it goes to sleep, it won't wake up for 70% of the time (had to power cycle the monitor). I already changed cable and plug the DP port + cable to different monitor, only this monitor has that specific issues.

Same. I bought it about a month ago. Have seriously considered returning it for this but probably won't seems like it could be fixed with a firmware fix but not sure if they ever will.

Costco has a 90-day return policy. If you don't like it, you have the opportunity to return it.

I bought this monitor last July and have had it hooked up via HDMI to an Intel NUC (Skylake). Personally, I have been very happy with the monitor. I think it looks great and the embedded USB 3.0 hub is nice. It is mostly used for watching Netflix, but it sometimes sees some PC gameplay, although I have to lower the resolution from 4K due to the embedded Intel graphics. I have seen some strange behavior -- game freezes without sound on start-up -- with this monitor -- it's the only hardware that changed -- in some Unity-based PC games, which is quite odd (because it's just a monitor).

In sum, it's a really great productivity and multimedia (including photo-editing) monitor, especially since it's precalibrated. It's fine for PC gaming if you are OK with an IPS that does 4K at 60 Hz. G-Sync / Freesync not included.

Have you try this:

With a system this old, I would first suspect either the battery, power adapter, or charging circuit. If you've tested those and they are all functioning properly, then check your power settings.

Click the Windows button, > Control Panel > Power Options > in the Left Menu > Change when the computer sleeps > set all options to Never > Save Changes.
Please ensure that the AC Adapter is connected for this test.

Ugh...I'm having this same issue with a brand new LG 27UK650-W that I bought around Black Friday. I was returning that monitor for this one, only to see this...what hardware/OS are you running?

I'm on a 2018 Macbook pro 15.4" If you disable sleep on it it's not as bad but still does it some. It's confusing as even though you turn off sleep it still goes to sleep. It's a nice monitor but definitely was happier with my last Dell. I'm running display port as I'm running through a OWC Thunderbolt Dock and was only getting 30hz with my Anker USB-C to HDMI cable.

Interesting! I have the exact same issues with this LG monitor, both running a laptop through a Dell D6000 dock, and with my Intel NUC. Drives me nuts. The only work arounds I've found, 1) disable power save mode for the monitor in Windows and literally turn the monitor on and off manually each time I want to use it, or 2) set my screensaver to "blank".
