Personally, it comes down to taste for me and more caffeine!! I like the VaporX5 from MuscleTech (as opposed to the 6Star). I've attached a snapshot comparing 6Star, Vaporx5, Walmart Equate, and Cellucor C4 -- hopefully this helps some.

Might work to give you a placebo type boost for your workout. Citrulline dosage is generally 5000-9000 mg, this has 500 mg of a proprietary blend. Caffeine should be 3-6 mg/kg body weight and beta alanine should be around 3200-4000 mg but people can be sensitive to both of those. Creatine is pointless in a preworkout as it should be taken daily, I'm sure I could go on...

Probably fine for any first time users of preworkout so you can test out the effects.

You get sick of this flavor twice as fast as C4 or other brands

This was cheaper last month; it came down to $5.xx a 30 serving, and the ripped 40 serving, and 60 servings were slightly higher.

If you got in last month, you might not be locked in for this price.

As far as quality goes; I buy this when it's cheap and I use this as a cheap go to. Let's face it, I don't always want to use 2 scoops of expensive Redcon1 or a full stim pre. It's not cost effective. As a cheap go to, it's fine and taste is always great and it's better than nothing. I'd rather rotate in this instead of burning through $50 jars constantly

For the price? It's great. Doesn't taste as good, but you shouldn't care so long as it doesn't taste like hot garbage. I use 6star frequently because I buy it whenever it's on sale.

Let's be real here. None of us are winning weightlifting competitions or physique tournaments (well, 95%+ of us). I'm shooting for a 3plate bench, 4 plate squat, 5 plate deadlift and I'm close, but taking c4 instead of 6star isn't going to be what pushes me there. Spending 40% for 80% of the quality of pre workout is just fine for basically all of us here.
