I recently saw a posting on SD for another LG B8 55" OLED TV via Greentoe.com (look them up if you don't know who/what they are).
I decided to submit an offer on an LG C8 55" OLED for $1300. The offer was COUNTERED with an LG E8 55" OLED for $1399 (tax+shipping to VA).
What I OFFERED $1300 for:
https://www.greentoe.com/product/...004uSdAIAU
What I was COUNTERED $1399 for:
https://www.greentoe.com/product/...004uSdAIAU
I'm unsure if I should suggest to submit an offer same as I did ($1300 for the C8 and wait for a counter), or just go ahead and submit an offer of $1399 for the E8. I will say all the offers I've submitted are responded to much quicker when you supply payment information. You are not charged until a) Greentoe/Vendor accepts the offer you submitted, or b) If you accept a counter offer sent by Greentoe.
Per Greentoe's policy, I cannot share who the seller of this set was, but I was able to verify the vendor as being an approved reseller for LG. Set has shipped and is on it's way to my house via FedEx.
Wanted to share this with others as i'm hoping they will give the same deal I received.

I'm no way saying that offer would get accepted, but its a place to start, I suppose.

Several folks have gotten the C8 in 65" in the 2k range, there's a current ebay deal for $1999 for it (and some have an 8 or 10 percent ebay bucks offer they can stack today)- that's the cheapest I've seen it so far. Typically it's another month or two before these hit rock bottom (and then remain pretty stable for a bit until they begin climbing again as they start getting in short supply and replaced by more expensive 2019 models)
