I think Nintendo spent so much resources in the R&D of these kits. The build quality is amazing, and the instructions are awesome. I'm very impressed with the educational and talent exposure that come with these kits.
If Nintendo would come up with a new labo kit, I would get it in a heartbeat. To me they are as good as, or even better than other standalone cartridge games that are being sold for $59.99.

According to my kids, they rank them from best to good:

1- Variety
2- Vehicle
3- Robot

Ignorant post. You do realize there are 1200+ games on the eShop to choose from right? Who doesn't like a mix bag of choices to choose from?

I'm super close to buying at this price. But the cheap guy in me says if they can be 40 they can be 25...

These are great educational ideas. Just a little hard to swallow with the pricing scheme due to their ephemeral existence.

I'm torn on Labo. On the one hand, they cost way too much. It's cardboard, come on...

On the other hand, the kit I had was super fun to put together. Great entertainment for kids and adults alike, educational, unique...just a lot of fun.

Is it worth $60-70...probably not. Is it worth $40? I'd say so. If it seems interesting to you, this deal is a good way to try it out.

Not just cardboard, they come with Switch cartridges that contain the Labo games, and step-by-step detailed video on how to construct the kits.

How are these not $20 yet? This thing was hyped up and failed harder than arms.
Sales of the three Nintendo Labo kits totaled over 1 million units worldwide.

I guess failure is subjective
