Looks like 10$ price drop from last week when Sam's had it for 200+10 shipping and people were missing out on extended warranty from Costco citi.

Good price. Made the mistake of getting my son a 32" 1080p for his xbox in his room.

This is probably about the best deal i can get for him.

I think I'm finally doing it. Going to put it in the playroom/office/2nd TV room and give this a go when working from home.

My tcl 43s405, finally crapped out after 14 months. Used it as a pc monitor during this time, about 16 hours a day I'd say.
That's only 7000 hours. 10x less than it should be.

Half of the backlight went dim.

This sucks.

Interesting that I haven't seen similar complaints on the internet.

My Costco has this model on sale for $199.00 as a demo/floor model. Any opinions on Costco floor models and would you go new vs demo/floor model for a $20 save? The slickdealer in me wants to save the $20....

when I got my first job (fast food) I saved up two months of paychecks for a 32" 720P TV

weird age that a 1080P 32" is now a "mistake"

these are excellent gaming TVs with low input lag.

hope mine holds out long enough to type this. I've had my TCL 55S405 about that long, same use, on all day year round.

Props to OP for putting model and my CC extra year warranty should cover this TV long enough until something better comes a long in two years.

yeah, just filed a claim with my cc.

I was hoping these TVs would last years longer.

I'd say this is just bad luck. I've rarely had anything die just after warranty.

it can read HDR data, but doesn't have true HDR.

Read all the reviews of the 43s405, it's the same TV.

I thought it was only 4 year when using the Costco card.
