Is it even worth it at this price? My understanding is you need more than one ship to enjoy

If it is worth it, which add on should one get?

Digital copy is more worthwhile versus physical that if I am not mistaken, the digital counterpart has all the gaming related essentials ie ammos, lives, ships, etc to maximize the gameplay. Physical counterparts is somewhat lacking I think.

I've heard great things about this game when using just the included ship- especially on the Switch

Is it bad that the impulsive collector in me wants to buy this for the PS4, even though I already have the Switch version? (I have it digitally, plus the physical toys). If I bought this, I would choose the Eli Arborwood pilot pack, since it's not included in the digital version.

It might be nice to have the physical ship that comes with the non-Switch starter, but honestly it would just sit on a display shelf. I don't really have the patience to mess with the physical weapons and wings while in the middle of playing.

The only way I could justify this is to keep the toys and resell the PS4 disc like I did for the physical Switch edition. Playing it on my PS4 without the option of Star Fox (and obviously without the option of doing a New Game+ from my Switch play through) is a non-starter.

Honestly, at this stage, selling the bare disc on eBay is not going to recoup enough of the cost. if I want the Eli Arborwood pack, I should just get it when it's on sale at Best Buy with GCU.
Glad we could work through that with you. Not buying this game that tanked twice is definitely the right answer.

It's more like playing on hard difficulty with 1 ship and 2 element weapons because you will only have 1 life and later in the game there will be a lot of gravity enemies that the not included stasis weapon will make that easy

So, enjoy or not is subjective, some might enjoy more when it's challenging.

The game main mission is pretty short especially if you have both 4 elemental weapons and 2 more ships (so 1 ship 2 weapons will prolong your playing time)
Only Switch has additional StarFox mission.

Fun game. Physical copy is a fine way to start at this price

Horrible control?
I believe most people would think otherwise, it's very easy to get hold of that and animation is very well done.
It's a great game except the amount of content if not including those grinding missions.

Grand son loves it so we will see. He said one craft is enough and multiples are not needed. But he may change his mind later. All children have played this and other games at somebodies house so ask your kids and not the forum.laugh out loudLMAO

He played Over Cooked three times and then left it forever.

So the real experts are the children and not us.
He said Battlefront 2 was awesome (as well as Destiny 2, Tinfall 2, Minecraft-story version).

If this is anything like previous Toys To Life games, these will eventually end up at Dollar stores. Still, a decent deal.

Starlink doesn't get much shelf space at any retailer store, sharing with other stuffs, when compared to previous TTL that each one had a whole shelf and more.
Ubisoft also sells a better value digital version, so they probably didn't make too many toys in avoiding the same deadly mistake as others.

Target.com now only has 2 pilot packs (you will want Eli Arborwood and also Kharl Zeon, not in stock, for 100% upgrade) and 1 weapon pack left, so if you're planning to collect, might not want to wait that long.
