That's what I mentioned in the spec, isn't it. It has two Ram slots and you can go 16GB per slot.

Not sure if the detailed specs were added after you commented, but it says "32GB max," so I'm assuming it is.

Compares favorably to the Lenovo 330s 15 Ryzen 5 deal that I bought. Same processor, same price. Differences:
Dell vs Lenovo
4GB vs 8GB
1TB HDD vs 128G SSD
This Dell has a DVD RW

how is this compared to the lenovo 330s? in terms of durability, after service, battery life and screen quality?

I saw in a review that the Dell 5575 screen is not IPS and quality is rather poor.

I would immediately grab a SSD for this. Otherwise you'll be disappointed in speed caused by Win10 beating the **** out of what I assume is a low end 1TB hdd.

The Lenovo has an IPS screen and I don't think this Dell does. That's at a ~$50 difference given typical mfr markups on premium features. Actual cost of an IPS screen is not $50 more than a TN 1080p.

I am very happy with it so far. Screen could be a tad brighter (side-by-side comparison to the Costco HP 14 that was on sale for $299 during Christmas). I operate it on the highest brightness setting so that impacts an already somewhat low battery life. Otherwise, no complaints.

I want to add 4gb ram. Does this look good? One slot will be available and I'll just install it, right?

Thanks. I'm not a techie so I have no idea how much value an extra 4GB of RAM or an IPS screen adds to a computer.
