Be honest, has anyone flown Frontier regularly and not had any issues. I ask because I've heard tons of stories which aren't particularly favorable. I also fly United a lot because we have the Chase card and earn tons of miles. I'm sure you all know the horror stories but we've never experienced anything bad yet.

I sent my wife and daughter round trip last year on Frontier. No issues. Just educate yourself on what you do and don't get.

Like anything else, most people don't fully understand what they are getting.

I recently flew with them since work offered no other flights. Blah... It was fine. Just make sure you are aware of the added cost, and they only offered paid drinks/food nothing is complimentary. And you might see a lot of first time flyers, a lady near me asked what the letter was next to her seat number, for example. Oh and seats didn't recline and I was 1A on their prime stretch seat.

I've flown them regularly MCO-BHM, MCO-ATL, and MIA-ATL. Occasionally flights run late but no more than the other carriers. In my experience, the flight attendants on Frontier are much friendlier, and pleasant with passengers.

The majority of complaints come from improper expectations. If you set your expectations accordingly to what the price point is, you will likely enjoy it. I have flown with them many times and they did just what I paid for...they got me to my destination safely with my luggage in tact. Mission accomplished!

Get there early as the line to get your ticket/check your bag is usually incredibly long in my experience... Like others say, set your expectations low, then cut them in half and you won't be disappointed for the price... I personally would prefer to pay a bit more for a better travel experience... Until I have kids, then I'll be back to flying Frontier laugh out loud

Yes, flown them around 6 times and they are fine. Most who complain are people who don't read anything while booking and don't declare/pay for carry-on bags, etc. Then they are appalled that they have to pay $100 or whatever the fee is at that point. If you can follow simple directions, and don't expect anything other than a cup of water for free, Frontier is fine.

I use Frontier the majority of the times on trips from Denver to LAX, SFO, and LAS and it's completely fine. Just like everyone else says the people who hate on Frontier doesn't read the rules and have high expectations.

I like them because they're cheap and most of my travels are only for a weekend so a back pack is sufficient for my travel needs.

I've only had one bad experience from Frontier which caused a 7 hour delay. Which was perfectly fine with me because I Uber back to the Vegas strip and relaxed with my friends who were still there. They provided me a $100 flight voucher and $50 food coupon for the trouble.

Overall they're the best low budget air carrier out of Denver in my opinion.

2 of my friends and I just flew Norfolk to Phoenix on Frontier (after a deal on here), and we had a fine time. Don't pay for the assigned seats, because as long as you aren't full, the attendants will help you get moved to your group if not together already (usually are if on same booking). Yeah there are no free drinks, but you can always get a free cup of water or just get something in the airport beforehand. For the price, I would fly these guys all the time.
