Correct that these codes come and go. I had just checked this code a few weeks ago and it was invalid. I keep a list of codes to try every time my renewal comes up - here's my list (all of these are from old SD threads).

PLEASE NOTE that most of these were checked last week and show as invalid/expired, but old codes can start working again. Thus, all of these are total YMMV. UPDATE: Others in this thread have indicated that some of these are working for them. So, I've removed indications as to whether codes are "expired" or "invalid" because it's clear that they work for some people and not for others.

$2 for 2 months: BU7305499
$10 for 1 year: BY5AY1MM7 (2016)
$10 for 1 year: BYVJ9ZPF1 (2017)
$10 for 1 year: C0I4GIOZ1 (2016)
$4 for 4 months: BU8CV8EH3 (2017)
1 month free: C56XXHC74 (2017)
$10 for 6 mos: BZTTLG7D7 (2017)
Free for 3 mos: CD37L4SW8 (2018)
Free for 3 mos: CDC5ZH7B2 (2018)
Free for 3 mos: BTH5ZYHD3

NOTE: You can only renew within 30 days of your expiration (when the "renew" link is visible) although others have reported being able to renew earlier. Once you renew, your expiration date won't actually show the extension until your original expiration date has passed.

Does not work for me, granted I have an existing one based on a promo. Appreciate the cancel renewal instructions.

Mine was expiring Apr. 17th. It allowed me to renew until Aug., thus I did not have to wait until the 30 days before. That is, there was a renew option. YMMV.

EDIT: it came up like this. IDK if it will work:

I had an existing membership that expired in April. I used the code and renewed for another 4 months but it still shows my expiration date as April.. hopefully it will update without me having to call in or something

My credit card was charged (showing pending $4). That, with what this says, I'm also hoping it worked.

Interesting. This suggests to me that codes may be "expired" or "invalid" for some people but may work for others. I tried this same code about a week ago and it said it was invalid.
