Decent B450M board for a good price as far as I can tell from doing some researching and price history. The only time that this deal was beaten was back in November when it was $5 cheaper.

$70 - $10 = $60 AR

So M2_2 is disabled if sata is used, but I don't see SATA headers?
It's angled to the side of the motherboard.

Purchased a month ago. So far so good. Looks like a solid budget MB for a Ryzen CPU.
One complaint is the SATA port is side plug-in rather than top plug-in. My case was a micro ATX, and the side plug-in SATA cable doesn't work. Also, an angled SATA cable doesn't work since most angled direction is going down to the case itself. So, I had to replace my cases.
Actually many other MB have this kind of side plug-in SATA ports. I hope MB companies changed it to Top plug-in.

My ridiculously giant full ATX overkill builds are what finally drove me to micro ATX for my latest build.
Beware the finicky single-sided clamp on the RAM slots. Take special care to seat RAM correctly. This review I found is from a slighty different version mobo found on that same page. ...but the specific hardware concern holds true for that whole group of ASrock mobo's.

Stop using one-tabbed RAM slots, ASrock... (1/20/2019 2:08:10 AM) Pros: Once RAM is magically inserted properly (you won't know by any means other than successful POST), it works. Cons: One-sided (tabbed) RAM slots save what...five cents, per slot? Can this possibly lead to more profit than dealing with "DOA" boards?

They work! Just be certain you've got it seated right.
Oh yeah, I forgot about those. They're pretty terrible, they work, but I was definitely not a fan. Also to echo another poster, get ram on the QVL, my ram wasn't and I still have issues with it (like it always claims to be in single channel mode, though it seems to be performing fine)

I've been using one of these with R7 1700 for about 9 months. Got it around the $50 mark after ebay coupon and MIR. It's been solid, zero complaints.

Make sure you're using the proper slots for dual channel. On my rig it's the furthest from the CPU, then skip one and second slot from the CPU.

No overclocking your processor with that chipset, fewer PCI Express lanes, and a couple fewer USB connections available than higher models.

If you weren't planning on overclocking, then it'll all work out fine for you.

That's all fine but ppl keep saying it is terrible mismatch as if something damage happening to cpu or Mobo...some say overdrawing power...so just wanted to make sure

I don't see any issue using that board with the Ryzen 1700, it's a 65W CPU that you're not overclocking. Use a quality power supply and QVL RAM, you should be fine.
