Price correction - the AeroGarden Harvest 360 starts at $109.99 ($10 more than the Harvest) and ends up at $70, not $63. Slightly better reviews for the 360 and currently $88 @ amazon, so still a good deal.

I got 5 of these for $40 each from the target deal. We like them alot for herbs and lettuce so far. One month in and we are harvesting already. Just bear in mind that these are very small. We would need all of them producing just lettuce to meet our needs. But as a demo garden in the dining room where our 2 young kids can watch things grow, they are great.

The light is probably not powerful enough but you could always swap a more powerful light onto it and then add a scrog

I use AeroGarden with seed starter kit to help germinate seeds like strawberry, passion fruit, dragon fruit, and more. Love them for that.

Why is the AeroGarden Harvest 360 better than this? I am about pulling the trigger. I mainly using it to germinate seeds and stems . Thanks

Are there any worthy competitors to Aerogarden? I've had good success with growing herbs but they all tasted very different than what I normally get at the produce store or a farmers market.

Picked up two of the harvest 360s from the target clearance for $45. These are neat, I have herbs growing in one and lettuce growing in the other. Every plant germinated. Very easy to care for. Realllly bright though, but you can set the off time for 9 hours that coincide with your sleep schedule.

Not sayin' it's better - just slightly higher reviews (4.0 vs. 3.8) on Amazon. The Harvest is dragged down a bit by more 1 or 2 star reviews (22% vs 12% for the 360). May not be enough data to be statistically significant.

Anyway, found this comparison online: "The 360 is a sleek and rounded version of the Harvest."

I can't tell you about this particular unit, but the price seems right.

I bought a Wifi Unit (not sure if that's a worthwhile feature) and had all but 1 pod germinate. As others have said, this thing is bright. For optimal growth, they suggest something like 16 hours of sunlight.

My wife was not too happy with the fact that it would be on at night, lighting up the living room. But, it does give our place some needed greenery and something fun to tend to. Of course, the benefits of fresh herbs on hand is awesome.

I think I will try to germinate some other seeds for planting in the one hole that didn't grow.

They have a germination guarantee so if you call the support they will mail you a new pod.

Went ahead and grabbed three. Wife's either going to love me or hate me, but I'm real tired of 1) having to go to a farmers market at all for them and 2) there only being a solid two weeks out of the year fully ripened (red) poblanos seem to exist. It'll be good to have some herbs on tap, too.
